이번 협약은 기업지원 밀착형 대학연구시설 공유 및 재직자 재교육을 목표로, 건축공학과 건설재료시공학연구실의 성능평가 시설을 기업의 연구개발 시설로 공유하고 기업의 재직자가 대학으로 일정기간 파견돼 실질적인 기업지원과 산학협력을 진행하는 것이 골자다.
또 친환경 고성능 건축자재 제조기업의 재직자 연구역량과 전문성을 향상하기 위해 산학연구 개발 주제를 기반으로 학위과정을 병행하는 재교육의 기회도 제공한다.
